The Service

I will provide the wedding planning service which may include complete co-ordination or on the day support on dates and at locations specified by your instruction. Upon instruction you appoint me to act on your behalf in dealing with suppliers as part of my services. Unless otherwise stipulated you will be responsible for entering into contracts with the suppliers directly and you will be fully responsible for the management of those contracts. Executing appropriate policies of insurance (where relevant) to cover your liabilities under such contracts. Any additional work undertaken, such as extra meetings and site visits or as a result of delay outside my control will be charged separately at my then current standard hourly rate. Please clarify any special requirements for you or your guests upon instruction.

Price and Payment

The price for the services will be set out in the agreement based on 10% commission. Expenses will be charged in addition to the price for the Service, and may include mileage and hotel costs. All expenses will be agreed prior to being incurred. A 25% deposit is payable with your instruction, two further stage payments of 25% as detailed in your schedule. The final balance is payable within 14 days of the date of your wedding. With the SOS Package, full payment is required upon instruction. In the event of cancellation of the event I will retain any deposits or stage payments made prior to the cancellation date. This includes time already spent during consultations and researching your instruction. All cancellation requests must be received in writing.
